The ministry of worship is an integral part of the life of any church ministry. Scripture is replete with examples of the importance of music and worship in the assembly of believers in the Father and His Son Jesus (1Chr 15:16; 6: 31-35; 2Chr 7:6; Rev. 5:11; Matt. 26:30; Acts 16:25).

According to Hamilton (2010) “a solid music ministry must be grounded in the Bible.” “Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it” (Psalm 127:1). Hamilton continued “1 Chronicles 6:33 says that the leaders of the music in the temple were “the chief of the fathers of the Levites.” In other words, they were at “the top,” the best that could be found, “the cream of the crop.”

TPOGIM has a very vibrant music and worship team which is responsible for leading the church into the presence of God through praise, singing and the playing of music.

The team consists of dynamic worshippers who are committed to Bible based, Spirit led, Christ centered worship. Members of the worship team exemplify a lifestyle that honors God and is in keeping with the vision and mission of the church.
