He explains that anything you put above God becomes His enemy. Money, power, or even fear can act as idols (Exodus 20:4-6). Jesus said in Matthew 22:37 to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. When we don’t, we open doors for spiritual and personal enemies to harm us.
John 10:10 reminds us that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life. Apostle IB warns against loving the world or its empty promises (1 John 2:15). “Don’t let powerless things control you,” he said.
Our words matter too. Joel 3:10 says, “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” Speak God’s promises over your life. When you trust Him fully, nothing can shake your foundation (Jeremiah 17:4).
